Outline your fonts on your disc artwork
Did you know one of the best ways to ensure that your artwork prints the way you want is to outline your fonts. This converts your letters from editable fonts into vector point shapes. In Adobe Illustrator, select all of your artwork and go to your Type menu and choose "Create Outlines." Other software can refer to this same technique as "Convert text to Shape" or "Break Apart Text"
artwork resolution
300 dpi in CMYK with .125" bleed turns out best. Our full-color offset or screen printing process can utilize your artwork to produce tightly registered colors and a sharp finish if you supply the right artwork for your CD, DVD or BluRay replication project.
Multiple masters
When you burn your final master DVD or CD for replication, burn 2 copies. If one of your discs gets scratched or damaged before you get it to us, then you'll have a backup handy so it won't delay your project. Also, give us both masters, so if there is a problem with a data sector in your disc, we can have a backup too.
Verify disc data
Most quality disc burning software you'll use will have a setting called "Verify after burn" or something similar. Make sure to use this option. This will ensure that after you've burned your master CD, DVD or BluRay that the software will verify that all the data was properly recorded. If for some reason the disc fails the verification process, start over with a new disc. It is better to wait a few minutes for verification than to replicate a bunch of copies of incorrectly mastered disc.
Copyright/Intellectual Property
You must have authorization to replicate. You'll need to sign an agreement that basically says: I, the undersigned, represent and warrant that I have the authority to execute this Content and Anti-Piracy Statement on behalf of, and to bind, the Customer set forth below for any and all masters/titles submitted.
